This peak flow meter is compatible with BOTH US ATS Scale and European EN 13826 scale. For those who suffer asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), doctors may have advised use a nSpire Health(Ferraris) peak flow meter/FEV1 meter to measure peak flow to help monitor the health condition. Until recently this meant using a large plastic device and a pen and paper. Not any more - simply try this pocket sized device with integral memory and you will wonder how you managed without it.

The new PiKo-1 PFM has been designed to replace mechanical peak flow meters. In addition to measuring the conventional PEF with increased accuracy, test quality alerts, and storage of tests. Unlike traditional mechanical meters, which only measure peak flow, the electronic PiKo-1 also measures FEV1 (forced expiratory volume), considered by many asthma specialists to be a more reliable indicator of an impending asthma attack.
