FDA 510k Approved TRUE Pediatric Oximeter. Use for children (2-13 yr). Specially designed for smaller fingers and well-adjusts to child's movements (STOCK has been replenished as of 1/25)
OctiveTech 300PN pediatric finger pulse oximeter is specially designed to provide spot-check for oxygen saturation level and pulse rate for children. This pediatric pulse oximeter is widely used to detect conditions such as hypoxemia, a deficiency in the concentration of oxygen in arterial blood, whether due to an inadequate supply or poor circulation. The OctiveTech 300PN pulse oixmeter is a TRUE Pediatric oximeter with customized firmware and chipset specifically for child anatomy. Please be aware that some oximeters on the market claim to be pediatric oximeters by changing the pulse oximeter to a smaller size.
The relationship between SpO2 and oxygen saturation is depicted by the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve. In other words, relatively small changes in SpO2 result in large changes in a child's blood oxygen saturation, or blood oxygen level. Pulse oximetry uses technology that provides instantaneous information that is sensitive to any change in the infant's oxygen status in cases where they may be a risk of hypoxia, a state of unsafe low oxygen levels. As a result, using a pediatric pulse oximeter helps parents to detect early episodes of desaturation that are not yet apparent to the clinician or parents. Heart rate pulse is another vital indication of children's health condition that is also detected by this oximeter.
The OctiveTech 300PN (Pediatric) oximeter uses a customized pediatric oxymetry sensor calibrated for children's skin, which could be as thin as 0.3 inches (8mm). The oximeter opening is specially tailored for pediatric care and pediatric nursing. This helps prevent the oximeter from getting inaccurate readings due to movement. The age range for pediatric use is 2 -13 years and there is a minimum weight of 33lbs. or 15kg. A bright OLED display and 6 Display models allows data to be viewed with clarity from all directions in any weather conditions. This item is covered under 1-year manufacturers warranty.

Q. "do you sell a pulse oximeter for 11 months old who weighs 7kg??"
A. Yes, we carry the BCI 3301 Handheld pulse oximeter or OctiveTech 300AH Handheld pulse oximeter and you would have to acquire the infant sensor sold separately for a 7kg (15.5lb) infant.

Q. "will this work for a 14 month old? I only need to spot check him when sleeping."
A. If you want to use it to spot check a child of 14 month old and his weight is nearly 11kg, that would be OK. Please put his big toe into the clip of oximeter when checking if it is a little bit loose in finger. Thank you for your inquiry.

Q. "Will this device work on a neonatal patient? My son is only 1 month old at 9 pounds."
A. Hello, This unit is not designed for neonatal spot-checking. We would recommend 300IH with neonatal probe for 1-month-old baby. (http://www.clinicalguard.com/handheld-pulse-oximeter-oled-octivetech-300ih-p-46.html)

Our daughter is 5 and was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, she only has half of her heart. To know what her O2sats are is very important. This pulseox is non threatening and she doesn't mind one bit when we use it..which is every day. It goes to school with her and her teachers finds it easy to use and records her sats for their piece of mind. When I showed my daughters cardiologist at our last visit he said that he was going to order one for the office. Thank you for this wonderful piece of equipment.

I'm a mother and my son is 5-years-old now. Unfortunately he is a young patient of COPD. I am very concerned about his health and our doctor suggested that we purchase a reliable oximeter to measure his SpO2 percentage for home monitoring. I searched on the Internet and ordered this Octive Tech 300PN online. I chose this model for it is specially designed for children aged 2-13 years old. The item arrived on time. I appreciated the appearance and design when I opened the package. Very lightweight, OLED display screen makes clear readings whether during the day or at night. It gives me fast and continuous readings after a single click of a button. What's more, when I checked the accuracy at the doctor's office, we got almost the same reading of my son's blood saturation. The excellent unit gives my husband and I great peace of mind.

I bought this meter on the Internet 40 days ago and used it for my young grandson. It's Affordable, lightweight, easy and convenient.Plus, it's got six viewing directions. And best of all, we can't see any difference whether in quality or performance between this Octive Tech 300PN and other costly devices in the market. In words, it's great!

My daughter was recently hospitalized for nearly one month. She's 9 years old patient of serious COPD. My husband and I are very concerned about her health condition. Therefore, her oxygen level needs to be watched very closely whether in the hospital or at home. My elder sister search Google and found this 300PN of OctiveTech and ordered one for me two weeks ago. The price is at a very affordable price. I immediately tested the accuracy on my daughter's finger and it gave exactly the same readings as the one at our doctor's office. Now we can use this great gadget everyday to check her blood saturation % and pulse rate to provide a reference for our doctor. She's recovering gradually and will be released from hospital after a period of observation and treatment soon. It really becomes an indispensable helper in our life.

I am a director of the respiration department in our local Childrens Hospital. We need some accurate and reliable unit to check SpO2 percentage for our patients when we make the rounds of the wards every day. I purchased this little oximeter via Google and it arrived on time. It's an ultra-light unit (only 50g including two alkaline batteries). Six display modes allow the readout to be viewable from all directions. I like the easy and convenient operation. When we compared the results with the units of $300---400 we had used before, the readings were exactly the same. This Octive Tech 300PN is the most suitable one we've seen for use on our patients with respiratory problems. Our doctors and nurses are all very pleased and satisfied with the performance and accuracy of it. In conclusion: it's the best quality and the reasonable price.
