A. Thank you for your question. The Pediatric Oximeter Finger Sensor is actually for only handheld units such as the OctiveTech 300AH, and OctiveTech 300IH. We have not done further testing with any Nonin Handheld units. However, most likely it will not be compatible until further notice.
In addition, while the pediatric finger sensor has been used on other digits of younger children and infants, such as their big toe. It is recommended and most suitable on the finger for children weighing 15-45kg or 33-99lbs.
Most likely, the type of finger sensor you will need for a 1yr old is an infant finger sensor compatible with Nonin Handheld pulse oximeter. Please call toll free 888-769-4827 if you have any other questions.
